UGS Graduations – Class of 2025

These past two months we have enjoyed the graduation season – a time of celebration and reflection. Despite the continued uncertainty in the world, the resilience and achievements of our students shine brightly. Today, we’re proud to highlight a few remarkable members of the Class of 2025 — a cohort of 53 outstanding UGS alumni.

Andrii Trochylo (UGS ’17, Taft ’21, Stanford ’25), from Stara Lishnya Village in Volyn Oblast, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University — one of the highest academic honors in the U.S., awarded to students in the top 10% of their class. This distinction reflects Andrii’s outstanding academic performance in the liberal arts and sciences. You can watch his interview here (in Ukrainian, with automatic English subtitles available).

Liliia Alieksanova (UGS ’20, Babson ’25), graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Social and Cultural Studies.

Oleh (Nathan) Syvash (UGS ’20, Dartmouth ’25) graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Passionate about aerospace and sustainability, he is the founder and treasurer of Dartmouth’s Rocket Team, where he’s helped lead student efforts in designing and launching experimental rockets.
